For new home builds in the Dallas metro, you need Cory SmithWe are from Kansas and had been looking for a good lot in a nice community to build a home from a certain homebuilder for a couple years, but none were available. We went to a custom builder who referred Wall Team real estate to locate a lot to build on. We were assigned Cory Smith. We told her our dilemma, she contacted the VP of Marketing at the original home builder of interest who gave us a list of several new communities with lots available. Cory scouted several locations, came up with a short list, we traveled in, checked them out and found a great location and lot. Signed the contract and had to pick flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc. in one afternoon. Without any design assistance from the builder, Cory was a huge asset in helping us put together a beautiful interior scheme. She even drove to the builders other communities, took pictures of the exteriors that helped us figure out the perfect combination of stone and brick. She sent pictures throughout the build over a 10 month period. 8 months into the build we found the builder was discounting their homes, Cory wrote an email to the builder and they gave us a discount even though we had a signed contract in place. She helped us delay closing when the house wasn’t ready. I’ve bought and sold many homes over the years and Cory is the most excellent buyers representative and advocate I’ve ever worked with. Unfortunately we had a dispute with the builder that couldn't be resolved and Cory helped us get our Earnest money back.
